Columbus beats LG 19-13 in 8 innings, overall very sloppy game. Do not know for sure but would have to say both teams made numerous errors, I would say between 10 to 15 errrors were made. The last 3 innings when LG gave up 10 runs or more they had 9 seniors on the field, pitching and defense was pretty bad to say the least. Columbus definitely made quite a few errors themselve however they only had 1 or 2 seniors on the filed, a coach has to expect errors from the younger players earlier in the year. You would expect the older players to be better prepared and lead the team, don't know if LG seniors will be able to lead this team this year. With District right round the corner we will find out.
