Smithville is getting better than their previous years, I will admit that. Smithville surprised me when i heard they stayed with Caldwell. I thought Caldwell was stronger than i thought, or maybe Smithville is stronger than I thought. However, I'm shooting for Rockdale. Yes they are down, but they are not out. Bellville was a strong team and respectable. Giddings is too. Elgin played tough, but Rockdale came on top. Taylor, I really can't put in words about them, but i will give them their props, they are a powerhouse. Smithville is not to be taken lightly though. Rockdale isn't consistant right now, but this game should help them get back to where they need to be before district..."I know you will be back, I never once doubted you"

Rockdale 35, Smithville 8 (Smithville played at their very best vs. Caldwell but against a lot of subs in big positions until the fourth quarter when someone got a clue. Plus I think Rockdale learned from Caldwell's mistake of underestimating them. In hindsight, Smithville may have done C-town a big favor mentally.

Look Im sincere I don't get on here and talk aoubt how smart I am compared to others but......... Rockdale will win BIG! Not as big as last year like 72-0 ( without starters in second half) We had a 360 pound offensive guard run fullback and he even scored. That was last year. I know that if Rockdale plays like they have been then it will be closer but right now Im being optimistic and going to say 42-7 Rockdale. The run game is too strong and by then we will have our quarterback Michael Menley (fingers crossed).

Hey old lep, im assuming your from La Grange, we beat Elgin, the team that is gonna be district champions in your district. Rockdale is gonna make the playoffs too. If Rockdale was in your district they would make the playoffs easily, look at the teams in your district.

DANG! Lexington beat Smithville by 35 points. That has to be one of the worst beatings a AA team has given a AAA team. I change my prediction to Rockdale 45 Smithville 7. Only because Creghan will pull the starters and smithville will score on the second team.We won't get any touchdowns out of our second unit.

Wow Yeah lexington beat us so what...we almost beat Caldwell...A 3a team 21-11, We were winning tha whole game... Till i messed up...We have gotten better who cares about that game with Lexington this is a diff game. Think about it!!!

Yall have a close game with one team and you think you are getting it all together???????? I say give it 2-3 games before you can say you are becoming a better football team. Every team has its mess ups, and that could have been Caldwells worst game, and smithvilles best. If yall are improving thats good, just saying I would not base your improvement just on one game. Lets be serious Smithville beat Rockdale! They'll be lucky if they win one game this whole season they've already lost to a 2a team this season. So what makes you think that they'll beat Rockdale? Rockdale is a good team I watched them play against Giddings and if they cut back on their mistakes they will be a really good team. I take Rockdale 52-14! :p

Ok here is the truth and facts!...........Jamal Williams 300 yards rushing. Stryker Sulak 13 tackles, Defense will score tonight. Travis diestal and my favorite receiver the soph. DJ Marek are gonna handle business as well. I would also like to point out taht every time Rockdale plays smithville, its a highlight reel. 2 years ago Fullback Chris Huff broke up the middle on the first play of the season for an 82 yard scamper to the end zone. Last year everybody on the team scored a touchdown, and 3 years ago Blade Bassler had over 200 yards passing and 150 yards rushing, including a punt return.
