If you can get a co-signer thats had utilities for a year or more, they will waive the deposits. Thats what I did with my daughter when she got an apartment in San Marcos this past year. It saved a few hundred bucks.

well this is the first time I am having any of that stuff in my name. $300 deposit for utilities (150 at turn on) 73.99 + 47.99 for the first month of my cable/ net which i can divide the 47.99 in 3 payments 90 deposit for gas + 65 to have it turned on or 19 to have it transfered (depending on what the current renters do..
-then first months rent + deposit....
does anybody have renters insurance?? Is it worth getting?

Try moving across 3 states....cha ching cha ching...
The company paid for the moving company to pack/load/deliver/unload our stuff...but then that stuff (chemical items, 4 wheelers, extra vehicles, etc, etc.) they didn't move we had to move.
We did get a $5000 check to help with utilities and such...without all that help we could have never made it!!!!
