Anybody know how Wc fared in the meet?

I think we had 6 or 7 people that made it to regionals.

What's up with that?

I would really like to know if we had anyone qualify for state, though I highly doubt it.

Region IV is the only regional meet held yesterday for Division II & III, if I'm not mistaken....but don't hold me to that. The only thing I've seen so far is that Bridge City won the meet. If I come across individual info, I'll post.

Just got some info in on how we fared on Saturday.

We had 2 qualify for state.

JaWayne Fields and Dylan Johnican.

We had 2 that placed 3rd and will go as alternates.

Noel Castillo and Robert Greco.

Good job guys and good luck at State!

Copied and pasted from www.kogt.com :

"Bridge City dominated the Regional Powerlifting Meet with 6 girls and 6 guys qualified for State. The girls defeated 43 other teams from 1A to 5A for the overall Regional Championship, while the guys dominated all of the 3A teams in the Region by scoring an impressive 44 points. ........ A few of the best lifts were: 94lb Ricci Shoemaker deadlifted 250lbs., 111lb Alexa Richmond deadlifted 275lbs, 132lb Brittany Myers deadlifted 320lbs, 178lb Valerie Brown squated 390lbs. The girls will compete March 15th at the State Meet in Killeen. The guys, winning their second Regional Championship in a row are sending 6 kids back to the State Meet in Abilene. Bridge City took 4 first place finishes and 2 second place finishes. "

Ingleside Girls won the region. They have one young lady looking to win her third straight state title.

Good luck to the Ingleside Mustang team. Last year they finished 2nd (tied for the title but finished 2nd to San Diego in a tiebreaker) in state and have a good chance of winning a state title this year.
