Wylie defeated Vernon today 14-5 for Wylie's 8th consecutive regional championship.

Good luck next week, bring home the 5th state championship in 7 years!

Sweetwater got second to Canyon and both will also be going to State in Waco....it should be noted - this is Team Tennis....

What Region Number was this

Wharton is a region too but not certain which one?

I know state tournament is next weekend in Waco

It's tricky b/c in 3A and down, team tennis isn't UIL, but TTCA, and there's 7 regions with 2 teams from 5 regions and 3 teams from 2 regions for a total of 16 teams at the state tournament.

Wylie and Vernon are coming from TTCA Region 2 ... I think Sweetwater and Canyon are from Region 1 ...
