I happened to catch this on the news today. It was a very tragic accident, as the truckdriver was entering an on ramp and apparently his load shifted, causing him to flip off of the overpass, and he landed on a car passing by.

seems I've heard/read/seen several reports of 18 wheelers' accidents lately where the load has shifted. There was an accident in Houston last week near Pasadena when an 18 wheeler's load shifted and it flipped the trailer over and it landed on a motorist in the next lane - killing the driver...... scary situation - :eek: :(

There was a log truck who tried to avoid hitting a car that pulled out in front of thm (in town)...the logs shifted and tipped the trailer over...the logs landed on a car and killed the driver... :( I think it happened in Monroe....

think of how it feels to be the driver in this situation... its a total freak accident and there's nothing you can do about it...
