Where is this years Wylie/Buttewood game being played. We need to go ahead an schedule a meet a greet. May even have to have some law enforcement on hand. What a great year this is going to be. SUX to be a moderator this fall. So far the Bulldogs are already 1-0 against BWOOD since the realignment came out. Kick your buttes in soccer once and will be 2-0 after tomarrow night. Don't know about baseball and track.

I can't help but think ya'lls Rocket gets really pissed at some of
our barbs. So, that leaves you to take one for the team so to
speak.

As for Brownwood joining the rivalry that is Sweetwater/Snyder/
Wylie, you'll notice we take countless jabs against each other
but defend each other against everybody on the outside.

Since you get to watch it all the time. Maybe you can tell me if the holding call with less than two minutes to go that keep Wylie from tie or winning the game was legit. "IT WAS THE ONLY HOLDING CALL IN THE ENTIRE GAME, and it just happen to be on a 38 yd"FADE" route down the sideline. I empahsized "fade" because usually lineman are cutting the DL so it's almost impossible to hold. I also mentional possibly "WIN" the game because I was told by Coach Sandifer that there was going to be NO OVERTIME because Wylie was going to go for TWO PTS and the win. He said he's had a two point play that he's been wanting to run for several years and the opportunity hasn't presented itself but, that was going to be the time to pull it out.

This is not crying over spilt milk, I just want to join the ranks of throwing a few jabs today. It's kind of boring at work and you, rocket, and SwRed are the only things keeping me awake.

freshmen & sophomore starters that were playing in only their
second varsity game and without their starting QB will be eager to
return the favor next season.

Brownwood has gone a combined 4-4 against 2008 district opponents in non-district games over just the past 12 seasons, with 2 of the 4 wins being pretty close games (18-14 and 28-21).

Brownwood's records vs. Breckenridge, Sweetwater, Abilene Wylie and Snyder combined all-time (as far as I can currently trace back) is exactly even at 20 wins, 20 losses and 1 tie with both Breckenridge and Sweetwater leading in their head-to-head series against Brownwood. WOS87:
I know you do lots of research because I've seen some of your work on different sites, the domination by Brownwood over the new 2-3A teams is justified, since 1958 ( I chose 58' because that's 50 years) Brownwood's overall record against Abilene Wylie, Breckenridge, Sweetwater, Graham, and Snyder since 1958 is 37 wins - 10 losses- 2 ties.
Brownwood has never lost to Snyder or Abilene Wylie since 1958 in regular season or playoffs.
Sweetwater holds a 5-3 edge over Brownwood since 1958.
Breckenridge and Graham have had a long history with Brownwood being in the same district for many years in the 60's and 70's, Breckenridge last played Brownwood in 1981, Graham last played Brownwood in 1997.
Since 1958, Brownwood holds a 10-3-1 record over Breckenridge.
And since 1958, Brownwood holds a 19-2-1 record over Graham.
I could go back to the to the 30's and 40's and thru all the 50's and the records would be much closer, especially with Breckenridge, in the 50's they were unstoppable, but I figured 50 years was enough to go back, because that's where most of the fans are familiar with those years, actually most fans now don't even remember most of these 2-3A teams except Wylie and Sweetwater because they've been on the schedule recently.

Naw. not anymore. Used to, I could get it all done in a short period of time. The older I get, I'm not exactly dexterially gifted as I once was, and so it takes too long. By the time I get one braid done, enough time has gone by that I end up......well,anyway...... no I don't braid her back anymore.
