Seems we might have some pretty decent players this year on our golf team. They've started out with a bang. Results from their first 2 tournaments.

Sinton tied for first in Varsity boys golf with Beeville yesterday, in Beeville. They lost in a 2 hole playoff. Carson Cave, a freshman, was 2nd overall after shooting a 77, Cody Martin, a junior, was third overall after shooting a 78.

Last week, Sinton won the G-P Tourney at North Shore by 5 strokes over G-P. Cave won it, Martin finished tied for third.

Next tourney at Refugio, followed by Rockport CC.

Hmm...with this wind...I think he'll return to us saying "I'm #1" after he posts a 111 on the board! ;)

but at least he's out of school

i wonder how many kids sign up for golf just to get out of school? LOL

Graham varsity and JV not bad either...varsity placing fourth and shooting a 301 at Heritage Ranch in Mckinney in first tournement and first at Nueva Vista in Midland winning by 30 strokes...our JV placing first at Mountain Vally in Joshua shooting a 327 we won by 5 strokes...we are only losing one player

this kid that played behind me one tournament shot a 156. thats 6 shots away from making the worst score on every hole which is a 9.

That's what ours was. We would be finish up and wait for him to either finally get on the green or finally pick up. A couple holes in we taught him how to chip because he just hit it like a normal shot and it would roll off the green.

Our boys team won the Rockport Invitational golf tourney yesterday. Carson Cave won 1st, Cody Martin 2nd.

Next tourney is at Buckhorn Golf Course in Comfort Texas!

Congrats to the Sinton Boys!

Rita, you will appreciate this...my daughter (you know the one) who only picked up a set of clubs for the first time two weeks ago...shot a 104 in the Rockport tourney yesterday.:D

Aransas Pass Girls Team won 1st Place and she won 2nd Place Medalist overall. Now, don't ask me any questions, because I definitely won't know the answers.;) :D

Dad, yes...

Brother is just remembering that when he started he didn't play nearly that well. Knowing his sister, I think he was more amazed than anything, but still pleased. ;)
