Anthony Trevino hit it over right center just to the right of the green wall (Right over the state tourney sign).

Pretty well played game, Hutto's catcher, center fileder and short stop all made some really nice plays. Starting pitcher also threw well. La Grange started 3 sophmores and other than one senior were the only ones that looked well swinging the bat, also have another sophmore that should be starting as well in my opinion. Infield looked OK however OF is where there is no offensive threat, 3 Seniors that do not hit very well.

Was the HR hit by Sinton, helped by the strong wind blowing out to right field last night? Just wondering because I watched the Sinton girls golf team in Beeville yesterday fight the strong winds all day. It was really rough battling the wind and trying to hit that little white ball in that wind.

The wind was a factor, I'm sure. It wasn't exactly a gale, but was definitely enough to drive the chill factor down.

Wharton has a good team, right now they are beating themselves with errors and lack of hitting. They will be ok,they will come around to much talent on this team not to make the playoffs.
