LUBBOCK - The Wylie High School girls basketball team lost Tuesday in Lubbock to Canyon High School, 49-27.

The loss in the Class 3A playoffs ends Wylie's season.

no one really suprised about this ...

I bet Coach Ayers is probably the most excited about Canyon going 4A ... theyve been all over Wylie girls for several years

Was it two or three yrs ago that Wylie bounced the Lady Eagles from the playoffs?

Snyder beat Canyon and Wylie beat Snyder to make it to state.

oh thats right. Thanks. I remember Wylie drumming Marion in the semis. They were terrible. China Spring however was not terrible.

people dont realize how great of a program Canyon has bc its girls basketball but they may be the only Texas class 3a team in any sport to win a mytical national championship (isnt as mytical in hoops as in football)
