Sources say Mavs swingman Trenton Hassell and the retired Keith Van Horn will be plugged into the trade in place of Jerry Stackhouse and Devean George. If the newly proposed deal goes through, New Jersey would receive 24-year-old point guard Devin Harris, center DeSagana Diop, guard Maurice Ager, forwards Hassell and Van Horn, two first-round draft picks and $3 million in cash for Kidd and Nets forward Malik Allen.

You act like the Mavs with Harris is a Title contender...People are overrating Harris, acting like Dallas is getting rid of an All-Star..I think losing Diop is a bigger concern than Harris

again what is the screw up? This is not a move for next year or the next..Dallas is making a move for this year..Does it put them in thew driver seat of the west..no..does it make them a better title contender team THIS year, yes

funny thing is, George actually ended up helping the Mavs...they don't have to be without Stack for any amount of time now, and George is better than Hassell anyway.

Horn has apparently has given the OK. Now they are just waiting on the league to approve. I won't doubt it if stern tries to screw over cuban and not let it go through.

i think it's funny that the lakers are so happy with pau gasol

i don't see how that made them a championship contender

Shaq may be old, slow and 30% of what he used to be, but the Suns are a much better team overall than lakers, still

i think stern likes cuban's enthusiasm, if not cuban himself

he brings a lot of money to the NBA by being the owner of a franchise he made popular again
