I hate the commission charge on Blackjack.

it does suck...thats why I like Louisiana better.....at least they don't charge you an extra 50 cents...

of course it's real tough to find a 5$ blackjack table in Shreveport on a Saturday night! LOL So I guess it evens out..

Never been to Choctaw, Winstar is nice because it's like 45 minutes and Durant is a lil further....but I might give it a shot

Wife says if you're a non-smoker, Choctaw will suit you much better. She said Winstar is quite smoky and Choctaw has a filtration system that gets rid of it. Never been to either myself.

There is a Choctaw casino south of Hugo also...just north of the Red River....they are supposed to be building a new building there. this one is much smaller than the one in durant...

Plus, they are building a huge coliseum next to the durant one...hoping to pull in many concerts They give away cars and pickups there all the time.

They all started as bingo parlors and have grown...

do they (winstar or choctaw) have roulette wheels in oklahoma? or is it just bingo, blackjack, slots, and poker ????

we're thinking of making a trip up there this weekend - don't know if it is worth it though....

I have only been to one OK casino and to see them playing craps with a deck of cards was wild.

 You let your wife go to casinos without you?!

I hope you have separate bank accounts!

If you haven't seen it, they use a special deck of cards and the "shooter" uses a yellow card to cut the deck. The card on top of the cut card is their roll. Then you play just like dice were rolled. I guess it has something to do with OK law.

i've heard through hearsay but question...

how many, if any, of the OK casinos let people 18 and over gamble?

We never go to Oklahoma anymore. Its more fun just to make the short drive over to Ruidoso and enjoy the scenery and commission free black jack.
