Speacking of Mars and Chess

If you ever read the book "Chessmen of Mars" by Edgar Rice Burroughs (publicshed in 1921) you would know that chess is played on Mars but a little differently. You can read the book free at the link below. On Mars though they have 20 pieces and the board is 100 squares instead of 64 like outs. Very interesting indeed.
