are you serious? this isn't even a contest

district 4-3A is one of the weakest in the entire state

Tornillo and Anthony were perennial 1-9 or 0-10 teams in 2A, and only being in an even weaker district has given them respectable records

I can't remember the time either team beat a top-50 team in any class

All I did was choose the two districts I perceived to be the weakest
two in region I.

I mean Gatesville, Glen Rose, West, and Whitney?

At least district 7 has at least one good team and a couple of average ones

Gatesville was a state champion this decade

they may not be good now (82 and 70 point lashings by LH) but better than anything in 4-3A

Whitney could be a playoff team out there

If you compare their end of season, statewide Massey Ratings from last season, it isn't even close.

District 4
Fort Stockton 334
Anthony 697
Clint 738
Fabens 827
Pecos 836
Tornillo 1035

District 7
China Spring 50
Glen Rose 259
Hillsboro 533
West 611
Gatesville 631
Whitney 692

If Gatesville is able to turn things around, they could be a beast. They have had some very good football teams in the past. I don't see Whitney doing much, but you never know. They were a playoff team a few years ago, but the coach of that Whitney team has since left. If Hillsboro can get their act together, they could contend for a playoff spot as well. What I'm getting at, third place is a toss up.
