LH/Mad girls area playoff broadcast Friday

[K-MAC Chuck]

K-MAC Sports (kmacsports.com) will broadcast the area girls' playoff game between Liberty Hill and Madisonville Friday night at Cameron Yoe.

Pregame on K-MAC Sports will air at 6:40, game tip is set for 7 p.m.

Chuck Licata (K-MAC Sports co-owner, Liberty Hill Indepedent sportswriter) will do color and Merle Bertrand (K-MAC Sports; host of The Director's Cut) will handle play-by-play duties for the broadcast.

By the way, a little storyline going into Friday's matchup...

*Madisonville beat LH last year, knocking them out in the area round (same round they're playing this year)..and if I remember correctly, that game was played at (you guessed it!) Cameron Yoe High School...

And yes, Madisonville IS a good team...

In last year's game between Mad and LH, the smaller, quicker Madisonville team outran and out-muscled the Lady Panthers. LH took the floor intimidated and the Lady Panthers were never in the game.

Madisonville up 10-4 after 1st.

LH inbounds with 12 seconds left and instead of taking the last shot, puts one up immediately and allows M'ville to dribble down for a layup. I think the Panthers have more turnovers than shots.
