I had an old sholder injury and went to see Dr. Cardenas at his Callallen office and my MRI showed I needed surgery to repair my rotary cuff on my left sholder. They had an opening the next day for surgery and my wife and I felt it best to get it over with. It was an in and out type surgery but I was out of action till today. The surgery went well and the stitches were removed today and needless to say I am very happy. The injury happened when I feel down playing with one of my teenage boys and used my left arm to brace the fall right in my own front yard so unfortunately it is not a glorious injury from playing football or falling from a scafford doing an accounting job.

I will have to have some physical therapy for about a month but fortunately I should be over it by the time I go hear Pelican West. :)

You kill me Phil!!! HAHAHAHA

Glad you are feeling better. That particular surgery can be such a pain to recover from.

The girls looked good last night. Beat Moody 7-1!!!! :)

Yes indeed even though I can't drive for about a month so I will be restricted to home games.

This type of thing does make one more sympathetic to athletes who sometimes suffer these type of injuries. And talk about emphathy - Dr. Cardenas has had d this type of surgery done to both of his shoulders.

Glad to hear it's over--except the recovery! Do what the doc and PT tell you and get back in action soon!
