Haven't there been many times when Altus was ranked #1 and have still been spanked by Vernon? From what I hear, (I know I'm not an expert) h.s. football in OK is not quite as competitive as h.s. football in TX.

I think Jenks Oklahoma is usually rated pretty high, but as a whole I dont think OK teams can play with Texas teams . I hope Vernon whips Altus all the way across the Red River.

Just a side note...data poll rankings out today have Vernon a 15 point underdog.
