How long has Vernon played Altus? Pretty long tradition of playing each other, right?

Would I be correct in assuming that a 5A Ok. team is the equivalent to a 3A in Texas?

5A OK enrollment would be 4A enrollment in TX.
6A OK enrollment would be 5A in TX.

I think last year was the 74th meeting for Vernon - Altus. Altus dropped from 6a a few years back. I checked their enrollment 6 or 8 years ago and it was 1700+. I have no idea now.

With an enrollment of 1130 students, Altus would be considered a small 4A school, if it was located in Texas.

We all know we play much better football here in Texas! We whip Altus yearly. It would take about 3,000 students for them to even be competitive with any of our 3A schools!
