Kimball coach placed on administrative leave

Dallas ISD athletic director Jeff Johnson on Wednesday confirmed Kimball football coach Darrell Jordan has been placed on administrative leave.

Jordan, who just completed his seventh season at Kimball, was put on leave for what Johnson called "an accusation of violating district policy." Messages to Jordan were not returned. Jordan is 52-29 in seven seasons at Kimball, which has made the playoffs in all seven seasons. Kimball finished 5-6 this season, losing to Samuell in the bi-district round.

Jordan and the principal at Kimball have not liked each other for a while now and hte principals have all the say so as to who they hire and fire. The principal was trying to get rid of Jordan last year and couldn't justify it considering he had not lost a district game at Kimball. This year he loses his first District game in 6 years and they fire him. He knew during the football seaosn that he would not be returning.
