As I don't have admin priviledges to access the team history pages off of the main page I'm posting the updated team histories that include the 2007 season and any updates here as I get them done. Whoever can go in and edit the team history pages can just use the links included here for the new files.

Nope...

Only the state scores page that I was updating weekly during the season

The only reason someone is going to have to go in and change the links is because I'm saving all my files on a different server so they will all have a new address. From this point on, though you shouldn't have to edit it again because whenever I update in the future, I will just save the new image under the same exact name as the old one and the link will still work.

Here's an article from December 20, 1931 that explains it all. The headline says that they were hoping to have the title reinstated but it wasn't. I guess you can blame it on Vocational Agriculture!

I love reading old newspapers! It's really interesting. I had no idea that high school football teams used to go to training camp until I read about it in an old newspaper article! I can't imagine how crazy it would be if all the teams were going all over the place for training camp now!

Sweetwater had a 10 day training camp in 1938

They still go to training camps at some high schools around the country.

They did it in Tennessee. It is an absolute blast. There were 4 teams holding camp at the same site. There were cabins, a mess hall, and practice fields. Morning workout, lunch, afternoon workout, rest, dinner, scrimmage, kids go to sleep and coaches play cards.
