I wonder how much all those Silver Boots factored into Ryan's decision to jump ship from the Astros and join the better Texas team.

probably about as much as the amount of times each team has made the playoffs...

i think it was more the promotion and not the team...

Maybe the status of each team's farm system is a matter of concern for Ryan, too, since he owns the Round Rock Express (Astros' Triple A) and Corpus Christi Hooks (Astros' Double A)..

The Astros traded/lost a lot of pitching this off-season...

That contract with the Astros runs out soon...
