Z Motion Heading North to Kansas

I may have seen my last Vernon Lions game (at least for a while).

I just accepted a position at Washburn University in Topeka, Kansas. Yeah!! Bye, bye Oklahoma and hello Kansas. I hope they can handle a Proud Texan like me!!! I will have to stay on top of all the 3A football action through the downlow.

Anyway, I'm so excited I thought I would share the news of my new job with my downlow friends.

Go Ichabods! -- that sounds strange. I can get use to it though.

Oh and Whitney (Lady Z Jr) has already been accepted at the same university and will try out for cheerleader in April.

Topeka is actually rolling hills sort of like Austin. Lots of trees, golf courses, and lakes. I will fit right in!

Life is VERY different in Topeka compared to the place I moved from.

Like you said...Topeka has rolling hills and civilization! The side I came from was FLAT and UGLY!!!! I am loving life in LA after KS. Last winter's snow fall was no picnic and I do not miss the constant 50 mph wind...everyday....all day!

Tell Kathryn I said kiss my booty...I'll get that last tax return to her when I can... :D

Ya going to enjoy those Kansas taxes!!! (personal prop. taxes are crazy...especially if you own any toys/equipment)

We made some really good friends up there...a lot of nice people.
