Well, this is news to me and everyone else on the team that I have talked to about it. I'll take a picture of mine and post if for everyone when I get it. I'm still going to cherish the ring regardless and wear it with pride as I worked very hard for it, but this was unprecedented and suprising in itself.

I cant see it being true. But if if is No Team Left Behind. Or in this case No Ring Left Behind. Pretty weak, Hard to believe. The Aggies are way smarter than that.

Who cares, really? It's not going to be a ring that you have to wear. Where are your Alamo Bowl rings at? It was one of the few positives for our team last year and will be highlighted on a memento for us to have forever.

No one is arguing with you about that Gary, but if they did actually get 38-30 on them, well thats a little gay.

Geesh... Has everyone forgotten the 'State Championship' rings Mack Brown gave his graduating Seniors in 2004 for beating A&M, Baylor, Tceh, and Rice?

Not to mention the Big XII third place parade held on Congress avenue a few years ago....

While the 38-30 rings are seemingly absurd to the outsider who doesn't play for A&M, I'm sure Gary will appreciate any token he can receive for his hard work.

BTW tcehsters, you should check into making rings for winning your annual Superbowls over daddy A&M. That's as close as you'll ever come to actually winning an unshared conference championship.

His spelling of Tech bugs me too but he is getting put down by someone that spells unstoppable with a 5 and a 6!

Would that be the parade that was for Ricky Williams after winning the Heisman?

Question, might as well be rhetorical, but:

Why does this matter to anybody but an Aggie player or coach that would actually be receiving a ring? If you break it down to the bare basics of the transaction, it is no different than when you get, say, a book from Barnes and Noble for your birthday. You happen to like something like "Colonial Covered Wooden Bridges over Creeks in the Northwest Counties of Vermont", which many of us may think is stupid, because we are all from Texas, and most of us probably don't care about Wooden Bridges, much less covered ones. So although you enjoy your gift, and understand it's meaning because it is special to you, the rest of us don't get it. That doesn't mean we have to all make fun of your book. It is special to you, and that is all that should matter.

Bottom line, every school, city, or person has it's own "thing." It is childish to make fun of these entities or people for enjoying their own "thing."
