Agreed. Offense didnt play well. Give up 17 and you still shoulda won. Giant D looked gassed but hung in there. Sending the house and going man on the TD killed em.

is it really obvious.

they played 19 games and won 18. no other team has done that. Yea, the one loss was in the Superbowl, but still...

One has lost none.
No one has won 18.

That would be about where they are.
No worse than 2nd.

I have no problem saying they were a better team than NY, but NY took advantage of two things they had going for them...

1. Getting to Brady, something no other team has been able to do consistently, and...

2. The fact that New England never established a consistent running game. They haven't done it all year long and it showed tonight. And what's sad is that they have the personnel to do it, but they didn't.

play action pass out of the I killed NY. The Pats didnt run it but a few times.

if I am not mistaken, the 85 Bears won 18 and that included winning the Super Bowl... and one of the 49er teams did that as well if I am not mistaken as well
