Abilene and Cooper

Both pick up California teams to play them at Abilene this year. Yesterday we were discussing how Cooper was going to have to travel for non-district and should pick up Wylie to avoid some travel. Looks like the Coogs have picked up Hebron, Garland, the Calif. team, Abilene High, and Boswell to fill out their non district schedule.

Funny... they could have easily played B'wood or Wylie. Guess getting beat by a lowly 3A team would have been more than they could handle.

Was Brownwood playing Cooper regularly before Randy Allen arrived in Brownwood...or did the series start before he arrived?

Good to see Cooper was able to avoid Abilene Wylie and got some cupcakes like Abilene, Hebron, and Garland instead!

They had to play A-High with the tradition and all. Otherwise they would have chickened out of that game too!!!;)
