I talked to someone from Graham who doesn't think they will even make it out of district this season.

Well, if this is the toughest district in 3A, anything is possible and I am not sure it is appropriate for anyone to laugh too hard at a die hard fan's prediction.

Snyder was solid this last season and seems to be a program, not just a flash in the pan. I am not counting them out.

Certainly, a difficult schedule, but if anyone automatically puts a W next to Snyder on their schedule, then they may be in for a surprise.

The folks in Snyder sure aren't shy about spouting off at the mouth are they? We'll see. One things for sure. Two good teams from this district will staying home during the playoffs.

My brain says 1) The Wood/AW and 3) Snyder, but I'm hoping McCoy can get it together when it matters and Graham can get in there somewhere. The 3 that do make it though will be ready to play anybody in the state and that's for sure.

Kind of off subject, but being in region I now, I'll get to follow a lot of teams that I've really never paid much attention to. It'll be a nice change. In our third region in as many alignments, I'm getting a lot more familiar with teams around the state. I'm pretty sure District 2 will be garnering quite a bit of attention from this Panther Fan.

Do you honestly believe Brownwood is going to finish in 5th? It's going to be a dogfight for Snyder just to get in this year, much less win that district.

why do you get on this site if you know nothing about football?? haha i mean really. this year was a rebuilding year and except for holsey davis mccoy and a few line leaving they were all juniors and sophmores and even the ones that are leaving there backups(the starters this upcoming year) got plenty of playing time..so yea there basicaly returning there whole team..and i still wouldnt quite say they "sucked"

I can' believe that I'm saying this, but Sweetwater will be stronger next season. Of course, they might have a new coach, if Jackson takes the job at Andrews. He is listed as one of the eight that survived the cut for interviews.
