Region III basketball schools should be thankful. No one would've made it to Austin from the region had Jones dropped. In my opinion Wheatley will one day have a 3A enrollment too. It'll eventually happen and when it does the rest of the region is screwed from a basketball perspective if those schools don't opt up.

I guess my question is, if you have enough schools to fill in a 3A district (six), why subject the kids to 4A where they dont have a snowballs chance in hell to compete on a regional level? I understand HISD wants to keep their schools together.. but sheesh.. DISD has finally started to see that 3A isnt all that bad for their schools. why doesnt HISD see it that same way?
