Taylor to Madisonville is a LONG trip.

Taylor to Navasota isn't to bad. They can just go to Elgin and get on 290 and go all the way there to Brenham then take that turn and head to Navasota.

Jasper's district is by far the most spread out...Hasper to Carthage looks ROUGH

Taylor to Madisonville is not too bad, its a 100 mile drive around 2 hrs taking 79

Well life has just gotten quite a bit easier for WO-S (knock on wood).

We changed from an 8-team district to a 6-team district, the other two playoff teams from 21-3A last year (Jasper and Kirbyville) have been moved out as has Giddings from D23.

With District 23 as a bye district, that will put the winner of the District 21 champ - District 22 runner up 1st round playoff game only having to play the district 24 runner up in the 2nd round.

Jasper to Carthage is about 95 miles. Jasper to Rusk is 100 miles. Jasper to Center is 67 miles. Jasper to Diboll is 58 miles. Jasper to Huntington is 45 miles.

This past two seasons, Jasper to Hamshire-Fannett was 92 miles. Jasper to HJ was 80 miles. Jasper to Bridge City was 68 miles. Jasper to Orange was 66 miles. Jasper to Silsbee was 52 miles.

It does not seem to be all that different to me from what Jasper has been having to travel since 1960.
