coaches have already said that they are not liking the idea of finalizing bwood and wylie now that we will probably face them in the playoffs.

so dont count too much that these games will happen, if worse comes to worse it very well could, but theres no point in playing when you will only meet each other again.

I can see the LH/Wylie game happening. There is like a zero chance of them playing in the playoffs for the next two years. Some really weird things would have to happen in dist. 8 for that to happen.

Who has the highest enrollment in District 2?

Wylie has the largest enrollment with 956 or so. Brownwood is 2nd with 901.

Wylie...

...and odds are, either Burnet of Fredericksburg will make the playoffs each year.

Abilene Wylie by quite a margin.

Their are at least four teams in dist. 8 with bigger enrollments than LH.

Snyder and Graham would be the next two but I think their around 850. Wylie is 956.
Forgot about Brownwood.

Yeah, so not only are you guys dropping to 3A, but you're all but locked in to Div II.

Correct, as long as Wylie holds serve. That being said, I could see the Brownwood/LH game falling through, but not the Wylie game.

I know beggars can’t be picky but we should play Wylie and look for someone besides Brownwood. I hate playing a team twice.

I have already posted this on another thread, but IMO the division 2 playoff bracket in region 1 will be the tough road ever in 3A.

Supposing that teams like Wylie, Burkburnett, Burnet or Fredericksburg holds serve, here are some of the teams.

Burnet or Fredericksburg
Liberty Hill
Llano
Wimberely
China Springs
Glen Rose
Decatur
Vernon
Graham
Brownwood
Snyder
Sweetwater
Monohans

Not excatly an easy road.
