Heard a rumor about Rice Consolidated having a player who is not eligible? Defensive lineman i think (#35 or #33)--maybe just something someone started. Anyone able to clear this up?

Once again, that's how rumors get started. NO, Rice doesn't have an ineligible player. Somebody just wants to ruin a great season by starting stupid crap like that.

Before you start posting UNTRUE crap on the board maybe you should check with somebody who actually knows.

Settle down, Crow, he didnt accuse anyone of anything. He asked a legitimate question as far as I can tell.

Rumors like this only happen when you win! As long as you're a loser, nobody cares. Good luck Raiders!

Very true. I wonder if all of Whitney's players are legal?

I will tell you where I heard this rumor. I was on the Rice side during the Barbers Hill/Rice game and heard an older man with a horns(don't know what school)cap on asking someone if they knew that number 35 or 33(couldn't tell) was not eligible. Heard him say it was the second game he played without eligibility. So I thought I would ask? Doesn't seem real valid to me, however.
