wasn't there a report about a week ago that the Air Force or something had some information about what was going on out there?

I heard that there had been some sort fo information come out, but I haven't been able to find it anywhere.

The fact is like in the past. At first the Air Force denied any activity in that area. Then about a week later the Air Force will come out with another report saying they had lots of activity in that area. Where the sitings are real or not the public will never know. The government does an unbelievalble job of convincing the public to believe what they want them to believe.

that really bugged me because they made it clear that they had no aircraft in that area initially and now they are claiming that they were f-16's/ What are we suppose to believe?

you can hear f16's when they fly over town - and there were none on the night everybody saw the ufo's....
