District 18-3A Elgin Wildcats

It must have started at week 0. The state wide scoreboard that appears in your Saturday or Sunday paper, had Smithville defeating Elgin, 62-6. Since that time, as recently as yesterday, the same problem has risen again. Now it's Caldwell over Elgin, 38-0. Even the polls have no respect for them. Not even an honorable mention of 1 vote appears in the rankings. The truth of the matter, Elgin won both of those games, by the way, which compelled me to e-mail EISD Atheletic Director, Ricky Lock, is that Elgin IS, 5-1 and 3-0 in District 18-3A. I completely understand that it is sometimes hard, or down right impossible, to get folks to report scores to the websites. Maybe after this Friday night, the Wildcats will receive that respect, even though their foe is Cameron-Yoe, no pun intended, whether they win or lose. Just my 2 cents worth.

I am about to change the score..every internet scoreboard had Caldwell 38 Elgin 0 even the Ft. Worth Star-Telegram had that score
