Google earth street view

This awesome. Hit street view at the top right and if you live near one of the areas with a camera on it type in your address and you can find a picture of your house.

Mine is weird, one of my friends is standing at the door and if I would of gotten there 5 seconds sooner I would be on it. I remember that day to.

I was gonna secretly get some of your addresses and post pictures of you house, but LHPanthermom freaked out one time when I did that lol. To much work aswell

I thought it was bad enough when you could click and view from the streets, but now individual houses?

Strangely the Streetview option comes within one block in each direction of my place of residence but the small area right where I live isn't in the coverage....

I think I'm actually glad about that.

I noticed around here most of the streets that weren't shown were ones with dead ends and the one big gated community my friend lives in.

I still had the address of Mesquite Memorial Stadium on there because we played there against Roosevelt.

I see an orange guy without any feet or hands standing in the middle of W. Scyene Rd. He's also already lost his nose and ears.

I can easily understand how he is missing these appendages and if he stands in the middle of the road much longer, he will be missing entire limbs.

Too bad, too, because from the way he is dressed, he is probably a Buckeyes fan.

It looks like they started capturing these images at least 2 years ago. Look at Las Vegas and you'll still find the Stardust but you won't find any construction going on Wynn Encore (started early 06). Also, it looks like they just went down the street with a 360 degree camera attached to the top of a car. I ran my apt complex in Dallas and you can pan low enough to see the hood of the car.

While I think this might be a bit invasive, it's very cool. I checked out Aikman's house as well as Mark Cuban's - very nice.:)

Yeah Dallas looks to be pretty recent...the downtown area looks to be from early 07...

it's not available everywhere yet...only the places where there are cameras, and then only the places that are outlined in blue...it covers most of DFW, but that's about it for Texas.

I couldn't get a street view of "Deion Sanders"...but since I knew approximately where it was, I tracked it down and got the "heaven view"!:D
