The long awaited film couldn't use it's heavy guns to knock off the monster from the #1 spot. Instead it took a army of silly Spartans to put "Cloverfield" in #4 the film took in $12.7 million while "Rambo" settled for #2 with $18.2 million, "Meet The Spartans" landed at $18.7 million. It was a weird weekend everyone expected "Rambo" to be #1 and "Meet The Spartans" to bomb at the box office, Guess Rambo couldn't hang in the 2000's

I want to see Rambo, but movie parodies have really gone to crap lately, so I don't really care about Meet the Spartans. Is Mel Brooks still around? What about his son?

I doubt it if Rambo will make it to #1 cuz other great movies coming up soon like Step Up 2, Diary Of The Dead, The Eye, Welcome Home Roscoe Jenkins, Over Her Dead Body and others coming soon before the Blockbuster season begins So it's going to be a tough month in February for Rambo
