I like it the longest drive would be Lamesa. And there are some decent teams for a change.

wouldn't surprise me at all if celina and co was put into region 1, since most of the teams coming down are not from west texas

not saying it would happen, but they've been close for a while

Carve it in stone and send it to the UIL. I like it!
Some very competative districts indeed. Easily could have a couple good teams staying home for the playoffs in districts 3, 4, 5, & 6 though. Makes every district game very important! Lots of tie breakers would come into play I bet.

I cant see an open dist again.

I can, cause it beats the hell out of having a bunch of 4 & 5 team districts.

Its either open districts or have a WIDE gap in 3A....can't have it both ways...

I understand that Anthony and Clint are both opting to stay 2A instead of playing 3A. If thats the case and they will have no less than 6 team districts then Pecos and Monahans would go west to replace the loss of those two causing a total trickle down effect on the rest.. the Fact that Canyon will most likely go 4A also would change this alot.
I see Estacado going north to fill one void when that happens and Icould see Lubbock Cooper going north as well . I think district 2 as it is put here would then change to look like this
District 2
Greenwood
Lamesa
Seminole
Brownfield
Andrews
Snyder

I think the far north district will be
Pampa Not sure they will drop
Borger
Perryton
Dalhart
Lubb Estacado
Leveland
Lubbock Cooper possibly

Interesting though. not much longer to find out. I doubt the top 3 A number raises as much as some have predicted. I see it going up a max of 30 to 40. Most likely up 30 though

That is a stacked district. We would go from a five team district to a eight team district. Would be pretty cool if it comes out that way. At least Sweetwater would keep their streak of not losing in the first round of the playoffs intact, should they make the playoffs.

Has anyone heard a rumor that Presidio is going to restart football?

I talked to a guy that talked to an adm there and he said they were in the process of getting it going. Not sure about it though

If this pans out, this could be the first time in a long time that Greenwood doesn't make the playoffs!!!

I am concerned about the next few years!!!

I looked on their school website but didn't see anything...I'd figure they'd need 2 years at subvarsity to get it back going again..

That is a legitimate concern.
