Steve Pinnell and Greg Owens both agreed this week how deep District 11-3A is.
Pinnell, Winnsboro's head coach, and Owens, Lindale's head coach, equally said the three teams fortunate enough to qualify for a playoff birth will have already been thrown into playoff-like atmospheres against teams from their league.

After regular-season play is over, the league's playoff teams will be sent off to face another East Texas 3A heavyweight district, 12-3A - home to the likes of Daingerfield and Atlanta - to open the playoffs.
So let the dogfight and preparations begin.

Very good article. Very objective reporting. It is very much up for grabs. We will know in 5 weeks who the surviors will be. I really think that the playoffs, like last year will not be decided until the last week of the season. Two key games are scheduled for that week. These games being the Winnsboro/Mount Vernon and the Gilmer/Lindale game.
Good luck to all the teams in 11 3a. Let play good clean games and let us not have any injury if at all possible. I think this district has alot to prove this year. :o :( :)
