Fairfield's new head coach

there is hear say that they will hire the vallet mills coach...i believe is name is piske according to our own ev...he says there was talk on another forum

Piske is a good guy and coach. I knew him years ago as one of my team mates at Tarleton. I have visited with him over the past several years and he runs a good program.
A few Valley Mills people were down on him a couple of years ago but that goes with the territory

People that applied got letters thanking them for applying. Ones that got interviews were treated 1st class!

Fairfield ISD did this process 1st class all the way. I hope they made the right decision.

Fairfield ISD did this process 1st class all the way. I hope they made the right decision. We do have a very classy school district with very nice facilities something Im proud of as an alumni. Mace Im sure your friend was treated respectfully maybe he just wasnt qualified for the position.

Ive been pretty sure it was going to be Piske since the start of the search and Im about 95 percent sure now that he has the job

What made you think that? What connection did he have to FISD?

bc he was the first name that came up and throught out the process of finding someone his name was constantly brought up

It's official. The school board voted 7-0 for Piske last night. He starts next Tuesday. And coach, he has a son who is a junior this year that I heard was district mvp (not sure how true that is)

It's on the Waco Tribune website, Piske's son is a junior. Piske says he will have to assess the talent that will return in Fairfield, then make a decision where his son will fit in.

Yes he was a QB, and a pretty good one at that. I don't know what his stats were, but I heard his name on a regular basis.
