Once again this year the DFW Metroplex leads the way in state tittles..the Central Texas area tied the Metroplex with 3 state tittles..

Corrigan-Camden Class 2A Div I

Actually Corrigan Camden is in the piney woods of East Texas, just a little south of Lufkin and NE of Jasper. Not what anyone would call Central Texas.

Actually pinecone, that would be West of Jasper for Corrigan-Camden. The Burkeville Mustangs and the Newton Eagles are only 12 miles apart in the same county. They need to be in the same region. Burkeville, Newton, and Jasper are all about 15 miles apart with kinfolks playing on all 3 teams. Them other kinfolks has just been luckier is all! :D Actually, they play hard and we are proud of their accomplishments.

Ok Corrigan-Camden goes to East Texas and that gives them 2 titles for the year and Bandera goes to Central Texas which gives them 3 titles...LOL
