Did you forget that THE MEDIA made the report about Clemens. They were the ones immediately saying, "Why isn't Clemens out front Day 1 saying he didn't do anything???" Clemens released a statement when the report came out...and then did "the smart thing" by getting his legal team organized and developing the proper strategy to combat the allegations. So now the media is getting what the media wants.
