Road Trip to New Orleans

I'm heading to New Orleans Friday, any suggestions on eating during the drive down or some places in town?? I am sure the French Quarter will be a player....I've been told to go to some place called "Yo Moma's"

I am assuming you are taking I-20 to Shreveport, then I-49 to Lafayette. On the way down, I would go to Prejeans, just north of Lafayette on the east sie of I-49. It is great Cajun cuisine. You may also want to try Mulatte's in Breaux Bridge. There is also a Mulatte's in the wearhouse district of New Orleans about 10 blocks from the Superdome. When in New Orleans, you can check out the quarter, but you miught be surprise about restaurants in the Garden District and Uptown. Commader Palace is awesome for lunch and The Bulldog is a great bar on Magazine.

Yes I am taking the 20 to 49, to 10 route...

I'm gonna stop in Baton Rouge and check the town out...I hear its a beautiful city

Stop at the wal mart in baton rouge.......it's the biggest one you will ever see in your life.
