Illinois didn't deserve to be in a BCS Bowl. However, USC could have competed with (and probably beat) OU, Georgia, Ohio State, or LSU for the national championship this year.

Are you referring to when the AP voters put them ahead of LSU in 2003 or the 1939 season when one they were awarded the national championship by the Dickinson System over A&M???
