I'm going with TCU. When I think of TCU I think of Tommy Blake. I don't think U of H can stop him and he has 3 sacks tonight.

TCU 34
Houston 28

Who did Houston hire as their coach? Who is coaching the bowl game for Houston?

Hey bud - Tommy Blake is no longer on the team at TCU. He battled personal/off field problems all year, came back, then left team for good after a mutual decision was reached about halfway into season. Definitely NFL talent but we'll see what happens after he gets his life life.

I still take the Horned Frogs tonight behind their defense & Houston undergoing major coaching changes.

**Sweeny's Tank Carder redshirted at TCU this year (now around 225 lbs. at 6'3") but he will be on the sidelines wearing #43. Look for him to contend for starting LB spot next year.

Correction: Tommy Blake is back on team at TCU. Sorry for confusion. He did miss a good portion of year though but now is back after hopefully overcoming some problems. I think he played in 7 games up to now.

Thanks, but hell, I don't get the NFL network. That movie "Beaches" comes on at 7:00 (what a tear jerker). If anyone gets a chance, please update the score on here....and let me know if Tommy does anything spectacular.;) :D

I don't know how close AP is to Houston but there might be a local broadcast available. There is in DFW.

Houston got on the board with a 67 yard TD pass

TCU used a long 75 yard drive and scored on a short TD run

well, it looks like we can run the ball...let me know if Tommy Blake gets a sack or stuffs someone...what's up with the TCU QB? Not very effective?

I was about to say:

TCU's QB just missed a WIDE OPEN receiver down field

Would have been 6 for the Frogs

He's been pretty accurate. He just decided to throw the ball 10 yards beyond a receiver that was 10 yards beyond a defender on that particular play.

UH moving the ball now. Keenum looks like he might be a pretty decent QB. But he needs a haircut!

the Coogs are like the engine that "almost" could. They play teams with superior athletes and keep it close, but they seem to always lose those games. I'd like to see 'em win one once in a while.

Brian Christian played great. He is of the famed Decatur offense that blew through a lot of teams in 03-04. He played well tonight and so did all the other 3A standouts (Montgomery from Sweetwater also on TCU's starting o-line).

Matthew328

I don't think Brian Christian plays for either team..I thought he was at Sam Houston State...

Are you referring to TCUs Ryan Christian from Aledo?
