I tried to attach the excel document, but it wouldn't let me. If you want to solve this, PM me your email and I will send you the spread sheet! I am hoping adidas will give me the answer because I can't seem to find it!! :D

ARE YOU SMARTER THAN A 5TH GRADER?

There are 7 girls on a bus
Each girl has 7 backpacks
In each backpack, there are 7 big cats For every big cat there are 7 little
cats

Question: How many legs are there in the bus?

The number of legs is the password to unlock the Excel sheet.

Neither 406 or 408 works.

So...are yall not counting all the cats legs??

If each girl has seven backpacks and each backpack has one big cat and 7 little cats....thats a whole lot of legs X 7 girls.

ARGHHHH!!!!!

This is driving me nuts!!!

Since it's out there this is what I came up with, not counting a possible 2 for an unmentioned driver.

7 Girls = 14 legs

Big Cat Legs
7girls x 7backkpacks x 7Bigcats x 4legs =1372 legs

Little cats Legs =
7girls x 7backpacks x 7big cats x 7little cats x 4legs = 9604 Legs

Total = 10990 Legs

yah when you figured out the number of legs on the cats you just did it for one girl...multiply ur number of legs for big cats and little cats times 7 and you will get the right number...

for some reason, I was only counting 49 big cats, 49 little cats, and 7 girls...forgot to multiply the seven little cats by 49.

1. is the driver present or signing the ticket outside the bus for speeding?

2. what bus driver doesn't have 2-3 bobble heads (which have legs) attached to the driver dash?

3. each seat attached to the bus would be fitted with an amount of legs, the exact specifications of the bus design would be needed

4. what city is it? there are some cities in texas that would have a good amount of 3 legged cats owned by small children, thus making the exact amount of legs lower than calculated

5. the cats are stuffed into 7 backpacks, so are they real or fake toy cats...... this would be important information considering some fake toy cats only have 2 legs and 2 arms like the cat from Tom & Jerry.

The answer is 238 legs.
8 cats(7 littles and 1 big)
7 of those groups for the 7 big cats
7 x 8 = 56 cats
56 cats x 4 lpc(legs per cat) = 224
7 girls x 2 lpg(legs per girl) = 14
224 + 14 = 238 legs
If they count the driver or the legs on the bus seats then thats just gay. The answer is 238 legs.

They didn't count the driver or the legs on the bus seats...but the answer still isn't 238, it's 10990. That was the number that opened the excel spreadsheet the question came with!

1 backpack= 7 big cats+49 little cats= 56 total cats
each girl has 7 back packs
so one girl=392 cats
392cats x 7girls=2744cats
2744 cats x 4 legs=10976 legs
10976+ 14 girls legs=10990 legs total

I completely missed the whole 7 backpacks for each girl thing. What I want to know though, is how do little girls carry 56 cats each? I have one cat and he's fat enough.
