Fairfield beat #6 Pittsburg today in the whataburger tournament 71-64.

Would you happen to know how the Fairfield girls did in the Cameron Tournament?

That's a good win. Congrats to the Eagles. After doing some searching on the Fairfield ISD website, the girls varsity schedule indicates that they will be at the Cameron Tournament.

Navasota vs. Hearne in the Championship game at 830p. Navasota knocked of the Eagles 66-59 in Navasota's first game of the year. If the Rattlers win, this will make their 2nd tournament championship this season.

Correct,

Navasota 64
Hearne 46, Final

The game wasn't close at all. In fact, the Rattlers didn't score any 4th quarter points. The Rattlers went into halftime leading by 22 points. Coming from the half, Hearne decided to slow the pace of the game down. By the beginning of the fourth, the lead was still around 22 points or so for the Rattlers. The gaurd play was excellent tonight. Hearne had a really hard time with Navasota's half court trap.

Congrats Rattlers!

Hearne is a very overrated 2a team from what I saw of them

Hearne looked tired tonight. I know that the first time that we played them in Navasota, they were more active. Meanwhile, Navasota was without many of their players during the first matchup also. They have a pretty good post player in #11. Otherwise, the rest of the team will need to step up to his level if they are going to contend against Hempstead, Franklin, and New Waverly.
