Yea I got it but I haven't been home to play it:(

I could of hooked it up to my little cousins PS3 but he knocked it off the shelf and broke it...but his dads goin to get him another one tomarrow but i'll be gone by then.

I did play it in Best Buy for a long time today.

I've got a friend that bought it and we love it...it mixes with well with domestic less filling pilsners! ;)

That being said...as a long time "drummer"...playing drums on rock band is frustrating. The lag in the game doesn't read most of what I play and will often times kick me out of the game. Fortunately, I've got a friend that can play them pretty well on the game so I resort to playing guitar instead. Just gotta learn to survive on hard now! :(

I do like the music choices MUCH MORE than GH2. I'd never played any GH games until Christmas...and the 70's and 80's metal just isn't for me...even if it does have some nice guitar parts.

My son's g/f bought it for him for Christmas....only thing, he doesn't have a PS3, so he has to save his money and buy him one before he can even play!!:D

agreed on all points. i noticed the lag aswell, kinda made me depressed for a while, i thought i had lost all my ability with the sticks.

song selection is great.

I bought it for myself on 360 on thanksgiving day and picked up Guitar Hero 3 on Wii for my son.

It doesn't lag, you just need to go to options and sync up your drums and guitar. I personally love the game but the guitar from GH 2 is MUCH better than the crappy one that came with Rock Band so I use it still. new songs to download evry week from X Box live are a nice feature. Downloaded The Kill, Move Along and Buddy Holly just last night.

yeah...we were going to sync it up but my friend is used to it...and it's his game...so we'll just leave it as is. It's a blast to play on his 6.1 surround sound that's for sure. And yes...the guitar does suck...

why are you grinning?.....You got rid of Halo.....I mean....with all the new maps and stuff.......I mean Rock Band is cool and all but I would never trade Halo 3. Its almost heresy lol

Calibrate it. Go into game options or something and there should be one for calibrate. It has presets for every kind of tv or you can do it yourself like on GH

Halo 3 is the most overhyped and overrated game of the year. It was fun for a few weeks, but got real old real fast. Nowhere on the level of call of duty 4

I don't like it much either, but it will do.

Where do you download the songs from. I could only find the punk pack and that was because there was an ad for it on the marketplace.

What is the key to singing? I was on easy, but just couldn't get the pitch right. Maybe it will be easier once I can sing real loud

Halo 3 is not overrated. They went with a formula that works and added a few things to it. If it ain't broke, don't fix it. If you like Halo at all, Halo 3 is not overrated.

COD 4 on the other hand is good (I got it for Xmas) but when you compare it to the standard COD/WWII fare....that's why it is so much better. Modern weapons are more fun that one shot weapons.

Regarding downloadable tracks, go to XBL Market and from the main screen scroll left and go to "all downloads" and select Rock Band. All downloads available will be there.

i cant wait to see what new songs will be coming out in the next weeks. im hoping for some more modern rock/metal songs, im kinda tired of the 80's and below songs haha

It's so much better because of the fact that it's so much better then past games. Halo 3 is basically halo 2.5, COD4 is up for game of the year honors on almost every website.

like I said....COD 4 is good but if you want a game of the year, try Bioshock. It's better than both Halo 3 & Call of Duty 4.

I'm getting pretty decent at the drums. I can do them at 80% on medium. I need to train my leg because i keep double pumping on the foot pedal

i just started playing on hard. im getting about 80%ish on that now:) . and what they say is true about the whole if you can play real drums its not as hard and the better you get at the game the better at real drums you can get.
