Big City News Coverage Shaft

All the Bryan-College Station Eagle cares about is Cameron and its 60 miles away and only a handful of people there read the stupid rag. The sports editor's wife has ties there. Duh....

You really want to see one-sided coverage, read the Austin American-Statesman on Saturday mornings after games. The front page of sports is dedicated to Austin Westlake (sometimes a pic from their game is as big or bigger than their UT coverage), probably because all the rich kids' daddies slip money under the table. What else is new?

Tors, the Lubblick Av-Jo is nothing but the unofficial Texas Tech school newspaper; I guarantee you will read more about Lamesa in the Amarillo Globe (even though it's 100 miles further away from Lamesa)The A-J's high school football coverage is definitely one of the worst in the state. The A-J's only concern (besides Texas Tech anything) is helping get higher sales taxes passed to rip off people from Lamesa and Muleshoe. Oh that, and trying to keep their Mayor's name from being firmly connected with the parking scandal/screw-up at the last Tech game.

DaMules you are right but left out one thing. The AJ seems to be like the Austin paper with their coverage and worshipping of Frenship. Seems to be the rich daddy school.
