building would be the key word in that sentence.

we are in the process in my opinion

calm down....2 in a row...its a start, but no dynasty just yet...when they have 4 or 5 in a row...then you can call them a dynasty.

i dunno. i think 3 in a row would suffice.

heck, even one more in the next 2 or 3 years mixed in with some long playoff runs, and one could vouch for a dynasty:devil:

What about 4 or 5 over a 6-10 year period?

4-5 in 6-10 is more of a dynasty, no one is that good for that long unless you have move-ins lol....

4-5 in a row is so much harder in my opinion

It is, and it wont happen...4-5 in 6-8 maybe 10 years is more likely.

agreed. and even pver 10 years, that is a hard feat to accomplish, considering how long coaches have to stay and players have to keep coming up. thats a lloooooonnggg line of talent to win 5 over a 10 year period also.

That's a wait and see on that one. They are still relatively new to the playoff scene aren't they? They did get lucky 2 years in a row. ;)

Since 2002 they are making the deep runs needed to build a dynasty and the past two years was a huge step forward with the 2 championships. Almost there but still a ways to go.

Yup it is but no one has every won 5 in a row

1. 4 is it
2. 6 in 10 years is good
3. 68 wins in a row is good
4. 25 playoff wins in a row is good
5. 1 district loss in 10 years is good
6. 5 total losses in 10 years is good

I guess that is building blocks for a dynasty.

LH has gotten 1/2 way to step 1

Hey ron it's 7 in 12 years now...... with a runner up to boot. But hey I think a dynasty is a 50 year team. We are in the top 6 over the last 50 years. Number two over the last 40. number one over the last 30 20 10.

I'm just joshin ya'll a little. I have a lot of respect for LH. I like a team that does things the old fashioned way with solid offense and rock hard defense. IMHO we have the two best teams in the state for a reason. We believe in playing the whole game the whole way on both sides of the ball. CS played like that last night and has my respect as well.

What about 4 or 5 over a 6-10 year period? nah...not really...just some are quick to call themselves a "dynasty" Sealy 1994, 1995, 1996, 1997...all state championships...THAT is run that constitutes a dynasty....Celina w/ 8 titles...that is a dynasty. LH may well be on their way...but I wouldn't call them a dynasty just yet but to answer the question..."building a dynasty" may be the correct phrase here.

"Building" was the question. Daddy D said "building is the key word". And thanks to all for the Celina history lesson. We pale in comparison and most likely always will. But then so does the rest of the state. :)

LOL.
