He took the 17th ranked team in the nation down to the wire with his 4th QB, a Redshirt Freshman. Walker made sure that McLeod Bethel-Thompson managed the game and didn't try to be a hero. Bruce Davis had a lights out performance and led the Bruin defense the entire way. Walker's also fighting real hard to keep about 22 commitments that UCLA already has. He's showing that he CAN compete with oher Pac-10 powerhouses from a recruitng standpoint and I feel that he deserves the Head Coach job at UCLA.
