Not all-state? I thought he was supposed to be good? I know the all-state selection process is not perfect, but no mention at all?

Wasn't he hurt most of the year?

I don't know. He did not look 100% in the game they played on TV. I never even heard of the guy until somebody mentioned him on here though.

In week 0 or 1 he got a high ankle sprain on the game that was on tv. I never thought he was that great anyways, all youtube hype.

Yeah, he was hurt for a few games and (I think) "only" had 1,700 yards on the year. Impressive no doubt, but I'm sure there were some other backs with better numbers.

What youtube hype? He had 3,200 yds last year. Was there some sort of trick photography that made him look that good?

Got hurt in Week 0 with high ankle sprain vs. Andrew Luck's Houston Stratford team (not Stafford, a 3A school). Missed a few games & still had over 1700 yds. like Russ said.

Broke the Houston Area schools' rushing record with 3121 yds. as junior. That's all-time & playing 5A football.

Not all hype & a helluva athlete & track star too. Going to MICH as of now but we'll see.

Michigan appears to be a lock at this point...especially now that RR took over and will "open up the offense" to put SM's speed to better use.
