I didn't read the story, but I'm guessing that's the news of Dontrelle Willis signing his extension.

Dontrelle Willis is an average MLB pitcher. His numbers fell off drastically last season. People hear his name and think great things, but reality is he's just another guy throwing the ball on gameday.

He adds depth to the starting rotation. He's a big name that
will put even more fans in the seats. He's just another step in
building a successful foundation. Detroit will be on all the "good"
free agents short list for years to come.


Of course this is all speculation coming from a life long Tiger fan.:D

he is a great pitcher who is struggling to find himself after starting so strong

i say sometime in the next 3 years he has 20 wins and a 3.10 ERA or lower in a season

plus, he can be a great inning-eater
